What happens

STEP 1

You give us a charity name or registered number, and an email address.

STEP 2

We read what is already public — your site, your annual report, your Commission filing.

STEP 3

We check the numbers in them against each other.

STEP 4

You get a one-page result by email within five working days.

How we handle what you send

Who holds it
Steepbyte Solutions Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya — registered under the Companies Act, 2015, no. PVT-OD16QAZ6 — is the controller. We work to the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019; registration as a data processor with the ODPC is not yet in place.
What we collect
Two things: the charity name or registered number you type, and your email address. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixel on this page.
Why we may hold it
Legitimate interests — you asked us for a scan result and we have to be able to send it to you. If you would rather we did not hold it at all, say so and we will run the scan and delete the request with it.
What we use it for
Producing your scan result and following up about that result. Nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share it, and there is no marketing consent bundled into this form.
Where it goes
Your submission is emailed to our own inbox and read by Samuel. Two sub-processors handle it and no others: Cloudflare, which runs this site and routes the mail, and Google, which delivers it to the mailbox. There is no form service, no CRM, and no newsletter tool in the path.
How long we keep it
Twelve months after we send your result, unless you have asked us to keep talking. Then it goes, and so does the result we produced for you.
Getting it deleted
Email samuel@steepbyte.com and say so. No form, no reason needed, and we confirm when it is done.

The scan reads only what your charity has already published. It does not touch your systems and collects nothing about the people you serve.
